sitzmark Skiing.|ˈsɪtsmɑːk| [App. f. G. sitz-en to sit + mark n.1] The impression in the snow made by a skier falling backwards on his posterior; an act of so falling. Hence ˈsitzmark v. intr., to fall in this manner.
