spod, n. Brit. slang (chiefly derogatory). Brit. |spɒd|, U.S. |spɑd| [Origin unknown.] A dull or socially inept person, esp. one who is excessively studious; a person who pursues an unfashionable, technical, or esoteric interest with obsessive dedication.
