Etymology: < Latin claudicātiōn-em, noun of action < claudicāre, so French claudication.Previous versions of the OED give the stress as: claudiˈcation.
The action of limping or halting; intermittent claudication, a condition of the legs in which pain is induced by walking and relieved by rest (also transferred).
