U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey 1897 II. 628 Iconometry means the measuring of dimensions of objects from their perspectives (‘Bildmesskunst’), and this term could well be applied to those graphic constructions which serve to convert perspectives into horizontal projections; iconometry is the reverse of perspective drawing.
