(1817) III. 722), or French ganglion de Meckel ( J. Cruveilhier Anatomie descriptive (1836) IV. 918).

Anatomy.

A parasympathetic ganglion in the upper part of the pterygopalatine fossa. Also called pterygopalatine or sphenopalatine ganglion.
