释义 | Munichn. In full Munich Agreement. An agreement signed on 29 September 1938, according to which the Sudetenland of northern Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic) was ceded to Germany. In extended use: an instance of misjudged or dishonourable appeasement considered to be comparable to the Munich Agreement.After the Second World War (1939–45) the Sudetenland was restored to Czechoslovakia.
