释义 | nucitanninn. Chemistry. rare. A glucoside found in walnut shells. ΚΠ 1869 T. L. Phipson in Chem. News 3 Sept. 116/1 When the episperm of the walnut is digested for several hours in alcohol, it yields a yellowish liquid, from which a notable amount of gallic acid, ellagic acid, and a new species of tannin, which I will call nucitannic acid, or nucitannin, can be obtained. 1870 Nature 6 Jan. 274/1 A substance in the episperm of the nut was called nucitannine. 1944 Hackh's Chem. Dict. (ed. 3) 585/1 Nucitannin, a glucoside obtained from walnuts. It splits into glucose and rothic acid.
