Granitogorsk

an urban-type settlement in Merke Rai-on, Dzhambul Oblast, Kazakh SSR. It is located on the bank of the Aspara River (part of the Chu basin), 12 km south of the Chal’dovar railroad station on the Dzhambul-Frunze line. There is an auto-repair plant and an electric power plant.
