Established in 1976, the Hong Kong Futures Exchange (H.K.F.E.) operates futures and options markets in index, stock, interest rate, and foreign exchange products.

Hong Kong Futures Exchange

A former futures exchange in Hong Kong. Established in 1976, it went bankrupt in 1987 because of speculative investing, notably as a result of illegal trades conducted by Robert Ng. It was finally absorbed into the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in 2000.
