Novocheremshansk

an urban-type settlement in Novaia Malykla Raion, Ul’ianovsk Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the left bank of the Bol’shoi Cheremshan River (a tributary of the Volga). Linked by a 20-km railroad branch line with the Amirovka station on the Ul’ianovsk-Ufa line. A combine producing tanning extracts and cardboard and a logging and timber distribution establishment are in Novocheremshansk.
