Aberrational Time

the time it takes for light from a planet, planetary satellite, or other heavenly body to reach an observer. It is determined, in seconds, by the equation t = 499.012 p, where p represents the distance from the heavenly body in astronomical units. Aberrational time is taken into account when calculating the orbits of planets, planetary satellites, artificial earth satellites, and so forth.
