Sukabumi

a city in Indonesia, in southwestern Java; situated at the foot of the volcano Pangrango. Population, 80,000 (1961). Sukabumi has a railroad station on the Jakarta-Bandung line. Industrial enterprises produce foodstuffs and condiments, textiles, leather and footwear, and metal products.
