Bobrinets

a city and administrative center of Bobrinets Raion, Kirovograd Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, located on the Kirovograd-Nikolaev highway, 54 km south of Kirovograd. Population, 11,600 (1968). Bobrinets has a creamery and other enterprises of the food-processing industry, as well as an agricultural technicum and a museum devoted to the eminent Ukrainian actors M. L. Kropivnitskii and I. K. To-bilevich (Karpenko-Karyi).
