Muhammad Allai al-Fasi Born 1910; died 1974. One of the leaders of the Moroccan national liberation movement and the Istiqlal Party. Al-Fasi is the author of works on the history of the national liberation movement in North African countries, including Morocco.
Muhammad Al-Fasi. Born 1908. Orientalist and political figure. Al-Fasi was rector of the Karaouine University in Fès from 1942 to 1944 and again from 1946 to 1952. Active in the Moroccan national liberation movement, he served as minister of education in 1955 and 1956, as rector of the Muhammad V University in Rabat from 1958 to 1968, and as minister of culture from 1969 to 1971. Al-Fasi is the author of articles on source study, literature, and Moroccan music.
Abd al-Kabir al-Fasi. Born 1920. Political figure and diplomat. Al-Fasi became a member of the Executive Committee of the Istiqlal Party in 1960.
