an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Iul’tin Raion, Chukchi Autonomous Okrug (formerly Chukchi National Okrug), Magadan Oblast, RSFSR. A port on the Krest Gulf of the Bering Sea, Egvekinot has an ore-dressing combine, a construction combine, and a food-processing combine.
