Typical anti-collision light installation in a fin.A powerful rotating visual light carried by aircraft to increase visibility in flight, especially at night and in poor visibility conditions. Normally there are two lights—one on the dorsal fin and the other in the ventral position. These lights are visible 360° around the aircraft.
