Glukhovskaia

a climatological and koumiss health resort in the Bashkir ASSR 175 km from Ufa and 5 km from the station of the Glukhovskaia-Kuibyshev railway. The summer is warm (average July temperature, 18° C), and winter is moderately cold (average January temperature, -17° C). Annual precipitation is about 500 mm. Glukhovskaia has a sanatorium for the treatment of active forms of tuberculosis of the lungs, tuberculosis of the bones, and tuberculosis of the urogenital system.
