equilenin|iːkwɪˈliːnɪn| Also -ine. [ad. F. équilénine (A. Girard et al. 1932, in Compt. Rend. CXCV. 981), f. equilin + infixed -en-.] A sex hormone, C18H18O2, present in the urine of pregnant mares.
