typhlosole Zool.|ˈtɪfləʊsəʊl| Also -solis. [irreg. f. Gr. τυϕλός blind + σωλήν channel, pipe.] A ridge or fold extending along the inner wall of the intestine and partly dividing the cavity of it, in various animals, as lampreys and certain ascidians, molluscs, and worms.
