Yekke, n. slang. Mildly depreciatory.|ˈjɛkə| Also with lower case initial, and (U.S.) Yekkie |ˈjɛkɪ|. [Prob. ad. mod.Heb. yeke, f. Yiddish yeke.] In Israel, a member of a Jewish community of German origin.
