pinnatifid, a. Nat. Hist. (chiefly Bot.)|pɪˈnætɪfɪd| [ad. mod.L. pinnātifidus, f. pinnāt-us pinnate + findere, fid- to cleave, split. So F. pinnatifide, pennatifide.] Of a leaf, etc.: Pinnately cleft or divided at least half-way to the middle.
