areopaˈgitic, a. and n. [ad. L. Arēopagīticus, a. Gr. ἀρειοπαγῑτικός, f. ἀρειοπαγίτης: see prec. and -ic.] A. adj. Of or pertaining to the Areopagus or its court. B. n. A speech imitating the oration of Isocrates addressed to the court of Areopagus.
