Etymology: < al- (in aluminium n.) + ni- (in nickel n.) + co- (in cobalt n.).
Any of a group of iron alloys containing nickel, aluminium, and cobalt, used to make permanent magnets.The alloys additionally contain small amounts of copper and, sometimes, titanium.
