Etymology: < classical Latin prōflātus, past participle of prōflāre to blow out, puff out ( < prō- pro- prefix1 + flāre to blow: see flatus n.) + -ed suffix1.
Obsolete.
Of the cheeks or mouth: puffed up with air.Apparently an isolated use.
