† eˈvomit, v. Obs. Also 5–6 evomette, -et. [f. L. ēvomit- ppl. stem of ēvomĕre, f. ē- out + vomĕre to vomit.] trans. To vomit, throw out, eject (the contents of the stomach). Also transf. and fig.
