Twelver2 Islam.|ˈtwɛlvə(r)| [f. twelve + -er1.] A member of the larger of the two Shiah sects (the ‘Twelvers’ and the ‘Seveners’), a follower of the twelve Imams or prophets (cf. imam 2 b, Shiah).
