‖ hydreˈlæon, -um Also corruptly hydræleum, -lon, -olean, hydroleon, etc. [Gr. ὑδρέλαιον (ἔλαιον oil). Cf. F. hydréléon.] A mixture of water and oil, formerly used medicinally.
