complexant, n. Chem.|kɒmˈplɛksənt| [a. F. complexant adj. (coined by Chapron & Condom 1967, in Compt. Rend. CCLXV. 914): see complex v., -ant1.] A substance which readily forms complexes with an ion or molecule (usually one of a specified kind).
